FLAME RESISTANT

Midwest Workwear offers a large line of Flame Resistant (FR) workwear which meets NFPA 2112 standards.  FR clothing is performance apparel specially designed to protect workers from fire and extreme heat exposure. Although FR material does catch fire when exposed to the ignition source; it puts out the fire once disconnected from the source. FR clothing contains self-extinguishing characteristics that protect the wearer from burns and injuries even when ignited.

To give the best protection from burn, FR clothing should cover the entire body, sleeves should not be rolled, shirts should be tucked correctly and buttons should be completely buttoned. Flammable or synthetic undergarments are not recommended.
